Old Hickory Bourbon Cocktails
The Gumdrop Buttons

2 oz Old Hickory Bourbon

1/2 oz gingerbread syrup (recipe below or store-bought)

2 dashes aromatic bitters

1 dash orange bitters

Candied gumdrops for garnish
Mix 2 oz Old Hickory Bourbon, 1/2 oz gingerbread syrup, 2 dashes aromatic bitters, and 1 dash orange bitters over ice. Stir until chilled.Serve over a large ice cube and garnish with a gumdrop or ginger candy.
The Holiday Hermitage

2 oz Old Hickory Hermitage Reserve Whiskey

0.75 oz sweet vermouth

0.5 oz cherry liqueur

0.25 oz thyme-infused simple syrup
-
2 dashes Angostura bitters
Chill a coupe glass by filling it with ice water and setting it aside.
In a mixing glass, combine the whiskey, sweet vermouth, cherry liqueur, thyme-infused simple syrup, and Angostura bitters.​
Garnish with a sprig of thyme and a Luxardo cherry, letting the thyme rest elegantly against the glass rim.
Then & Now (Old Fashioned)

1 1/2 oz Old Hickory White Label Bourbon

1 sugar cube
-
2 dashes of bitters

Sprinkle of plain water
Place sugar cube in old fashioned glass and saturate with bitters, add a dash of plain water. Muddle until dissolved. Fill the glass with ice cubes and add whiskey. Garnish with orange slice, and a cocktail cherry.
Kentucky Sour
Ingredients:

2 oz Old Hickory Black Label Whiskey

1/2 oz fresh lemon juice
-
1/2 oz simple syrup
-
Half an orange peel
Shake whiskey, lemon juice, and syrup in a cocktail shaker until shaker is very cold, for about 30 seconds. Strain from shaker over ice and garnish with an orange slice. Add a cherry for a final touch then enjoy!
The "Smash"Ville
Ingredients:

4 oz Old Hickory Hermitage Reserve Rye

2 lemon wedges
-
5 large mint leaves
-
1 oz simple syrup
-
Soda water
Place the lemon wedges and mint leaves in a cocktail shaker. Muddle 4 to 5 times to extract flavor. Add the whiskey and syrup and fill the shaker with ice. Shake until cold and strain into a glass. Add a splash of soda water and serve over crushed ice.
The Blushing Betty
Ingredients:

2 oz Old Hickory White Label Bourbon

1 1/2 oz grapefruit juice

3/4 oz simple syrup

Dash of Angostura bitters
Fill a shaker 2/3 full of ice and add grapefruit juice, bourbon, and simple syrup. Shake vigorously until well chilled. Strain into ice-filled rocks glass. Garnish with a grapefruit wedge and enjoy!
Tennessee Toddy

3 oz hot water
Add your whiskey, sugar, and sugar into your glass. Stir and pour hot water over ingredients. Add orange and lemon slices for the final touch and enjoy!

Slice of lemon
Shake your whiskey, syrup, grenadine, and ice in a shaker. Strain into glass, add tea and ice. Add a slice of lemon to your glass and sip your refreshing Arnold Palmer with a twist!
Old Pal Old Hickory

1 oz Noilly Prat Dry Vermouth

Lemon twist
Add the Old Hickory Hermitage Reserve Rye, 615 Orange Bitters, and Noilly Prat Dry Vermouth into a mixing glass with ice and stir. Strain into a chilled glass. Garnish your drink with a lemon twist.
Hermitage Reserve Sidecar
Ingredients:

1 oz Cointreau

0.5 oz Fresh squeezed lemon

Garnish: Orange twist

Rim: Sugar (optional)
Coat the rim of a coupe glass with sugar. Fill the shaker with ice and add all ingredients. Shake until well-mixed. Strained into sugar rimmed coupe glass. Garnish with orange twist.
